Housed in ultrasonically welded non open-able Poly-carbonate enclosure, iMeter is a tamper resistant and completely maintenance- free meter and is designed for residential, commercial and industrial applications in countries where energy pilferage is high and where utilities follow the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and DIN/BS/EN standards.

Net metering allows utility customers to generate their own electricity cleanly and efficiently through renewable generation systems such as solar panels. During the day, most solar customers produce more electricity than they consume; net metering allows them to export that power to the grid and reduce their future electric bills.
iMeter from IMS is a multi-function, Three phase electronic revenue meter for residential, commercial and light industrial applications. The meter’s advanced design is a powerful combination of accuracy, affordability, and reliability. Offering features beyond basic energy metrology, including time of use and load profile recording, the iMeter is ideal for your most demanding residential metering applications.
The iMeter provides up to four distinct TOU tiers, allowing time- of-use energy and demand values to be calculated for specific time periods, in addition to the overall energy and demand calculations. The meter also supports two channels of load profile recording with sufficient memory to store hundreds of days data at 30-minute intervals.
iMeter has been designed for harsh environments (High temperature and high humid areas) and where energy theft is high. The complete meter is housed in a transparent Anti-theft box made of high quality Poly- carbonate, which is ultrasonically welded. Once sealed the meter cannot be opened without breaking, giving utilities unparalleled edge to safe guard their revenues.
HLMCS is a powerful software package that provides users a platform to access all of the setup and support tools needed as follows for configuring and maintaining iMeters:
- create user–defined configuration program
- meter programming sending user–defined configuration data or commands to the meter
- meter reading receiving data stored by the meter
- collection of electric service information from the meter
- collection of meter status reports from the meter
- selecting and downloading PQM thresholds to the meter
HLMCS Diagnostics is the read–only portion which collects and then reports or graphs meter data. Thresholds provides the capability to select PQM thresholds and program these values into an iMeter.
EEPROM reading gadgets are also available as an option to assist utility engineers in recovering data from faulty or burnt meters.
